# Delo Bench: a public synthetic example / un esempio sintetico pubblico

These three invented records were written specifically for public redistribution.
They contain no customer data and are independent of the private Delo Bench corpus,
prompts, source code and evaluation results. This is an educational example of one
check, not the full benchmark or a measurement of model accuracy.

Task: return every source record exactly once, preserving its identity, amount and
currency. All three rows qualify. A zero amount is an observed value and its row
must remain in the result. The expected total is EUR 200.

- `source.csv`: the complete invented input.
- `expected.csv`: the complete expected answer, including `EXAMPLE-002` at EUR 0.
- `missing-row.csv`: drops that zero-valued row. The total still equals EUR 200;
  completeness fails.
- `duplicate-row.csv`: repeats the zero-valued row. The total still equals EUR 200;
  uniqueness fails.
- `check.py`: a small independent Python 3 standard-library checker. It compares
  identities, multiplicity, exact decimal amounts and currency; row order is free.

Save the CSVs and checker in the same folder, then run:

The first command passes (exit 0). The other two fail (exit 1) despite equal totals.
Unreadable inputs fail with exit 2. No model, sandbox, account or network is needed.
Passing this check establishes those properties for this tiny result only. It does
not establish that a business recommendation is useful, causally correct, or safe
to execute, or that a model has a particular accuracy rate.

Questi tre record inventati sono stati scritti appositamente per la distribuzione
pubblica. Non contengono dati cliente e sono indipendenti dal corpus privato di
Delo Bench, dai prompt, dal codice e dai risultati delle sue valutazioni. Illustrano
un singolo controllo: non sono il benchmark completo né una misura di accuratezza
del modello.

Consegna: restituire ogni riga sorgente una sola volta, mantenendo identificativo,
importo e valuta. Tutte e tre le righe sono ammesse. Zero è un valore osservato:
la sua riga deve restare nel risultato. Il totale atteso è 200 EUR.

- `source.csv`: i dati inventati completi.
- `expected.csv`: la risposta completa, compresa `EXAMPLE-002` da 0 EUR.
- `missing-row.csv`: manca la riga da zero. Il totale resta 200 EUR, ma il risultato
  non è completo.
- `duplicate-row.csv`: ripete la riga da zero. Il totale resta 200 EUR, ma gli
  identificativi non sono unici.
- `check.py`: un piccolo verificatore indipendente, con la sola libreria standard
  di Python 3. Confronta identificativi, ripetizioni, importi decimali esatti e valuta;
  l'ordine delle righe è libero.

Salvare CSV e verificatore nella stessa cartella ed eseguire i tre comandi sopra.
Il primo passa (codice di uscita 0); gli altri falliscono (codice 1) anche se il totale
coincide. Un input illeggibile fallisce con codice 2. Non servono modello, sandbox,
account o rete. Il controllo attesta solo queste proprietà del piccolo risultato:
non dimostra l'utilità, la correttezza causale o l'eseguibilità di una raccomandazione,
né l'accuratezza generale di un modello.
